Limitations

What Jev and jev-guard can't catch, so you know where your staff still matter.

jev-guard takes the obvious cases off your staff and sends them the unclear ones. It doesn’t replace them.

• One message at a time. Harassment spread over several messages isn’t seen as one.
• It can be argued with. A message written to argue for its own verdict can move the score. jev-guard tells Jev to ignore such text, but test your setup with /jevguard test.
• Big batches lower accuracy. More unrelated messages in one request give Jev more to read past. Keep batching.max-size modest; the default is 8.
• Descriptions are read literally. A vague category catches the wrong things. See categories.
