Cloudflare

Run Jev on Cloudflare through AI Gateway, with logs and analytics in your own dashboard.

Jev also runs on Cloudflare’s Workers AI. Going through AI Gateway gives you logs, analytics, caching and rate limits for every check, billed to your Cloudflare account.

Set it up

  1. Create an API token in Cloudflare with the Account, Workers AI, Read permission.
  2. Give jev-guard your account ID and the token:
Server environmentShell
export CLOUDFLARE_ACCOUNT_ID=...
export CLOUDFLARE_API_TOKEN=...
config.ymlYAML
api:
  provider: cloudflare
  cloudflare:
gateway-id: "" # empty uses your default gateway
  1. Run /jevguard reload.

Checks then show up in your AI Gateway dashboard, under the model typesafe/jev.

Speed and privacy

AI Gateway adds some time to each check, so expect more than the 200 ms of a direct TypeSafe check. In hold mode a message never waits longer than hold.timeout-ms.

Message text passes through Cloudflare, and AI Gateway may log it. Turn off logging on your gateway if you don’t want that. See privacy.
